Irish Kick & Lovin London

All my friends have told me how bad of a dancer I am. Even though I feel I have improved...I was always one step behind. For example, in 8th grade I remember two of my really good friends (who had just found out they made the high school drill team) were trying to teach me how to do an "Irish Kick". You jump up and click your heels together just like a leprechaun. Well I'm pleased to announce: I have mastered the skill!!

Ireland really is green! Except being in Dublin we didn't get to see much of it. We got there around lunch time and were starving. So we went to an Irish pub and had some kind of Prime-Rib sandwich... wow. I didn't realize how much I missed American food. We moved our stuff into our hostel. For just picking a random one out online, I did a dang good job! The place was huge and VERY nice!

While in Dublin we walked around and hit most of the major attractions: St Patrick's Church, Trinity College, big parks...etc. Even went to the Guinness factory--which was awesome! Very big..could have spent probably 5-6 hours in there but I mean, beer is beer. So after 2 hours I was ready to be done.

Two very short days later we were off to London! I could hardly wait to see my best friends! Unfortunately when I got there they were all still at their Internships but around 5:00 they got back and took me out to see Buckingham palace and the Picadilly Circus, which is a big building with arcades, fun shopping, and M&M world. There were entertainers on the streets and big flashy signs for shows such as: Mama Mia, Wicked, and Michael Jackson shows. It was like a dream walking around with my best friends in London! We saw Big Ben in the distance and the Eye of London (Giant ferris wheel). The next day they had their internships again so another guy studying there: Ryan Dahm, who plays football at Central, showed me and my two guy friends around London! He was a great tour guide and get this Mom....he loves Rick Steves too!!

Put this up just because I know everyone misses Lindsey! and her big appetite!

alone though. So lucky to have experienced friends!

Went and saw Lindsey at her internship. She does marketing at a chocolate store

Its really fancy. We got to try a handpainted piece of chocolate  while we were there.
One chocolate cost over 1 pound. ( $2 )

The second night we took a "Jack the Ripper" tour around
London with the students studying in London. We saw the locations
where the murders happened and got to listen to a very scary
narration of the story too! Free and fun!

As you can see there was much to see and much to do. I apologize for not writing a ton about each thing we did...but that would take hours. And I would hate to spend hours doing that when there is the beautiful Spain weather I should be out enjoying. Plus...pictures are worth 1,000 words right???

Can't wait to see my parents in 2 days!!!! Pray for safe and easy travels!
